File information
Normalising page size helps before printing: mixing PDFs from different sources leaves big blank areas or clipped content, and one single spec keeps the layout tidy.
What can this tool do?
Change page dimensions to one consistent spec, ideal for tidying files before printing: pick A4, A3, Letter or Legal in either orientation, or type any custom size in points. With auto-orientation each page keeps its original landscape or portrait form, so mixed documents do not flip unexpectedly; with proportional scaling the content is shrunk to fit and centred, so nothing is cropped at the edges. Multiple files can be processed at once, all locally.
FAQ
Will content be cut off after resizing?
Not by default. The page content is scaled proportionally to fit fully inside the target size and then centred, so a page larger than the target is shrunk rather than trimmed — no text or image is lost. If you would rather fill the whole page, turn off proportional scaling; anything exceeding the page is then cropped.
What is the exact size of A4?
A4 is 210 × 297 mm, which in the points used by PDF (1pt = 1/72 inch) is about 595 × 842 pt. Letter is 8.5 × 11 in = 612 × 792 pt, and A3 is 297 × 420 mm = 842 × 1191 pt. For exact control, type the values directly into the custom size fields.
