Everything runs locally in your browser

What can this tool do?

Read the metadata stored inside a PDF and change it directly: title, author, subject, keywords, creator and producer are all editable, alongside page count, file size, PDF version, first-page dimensions and whether it is encrypted. Handy for cleaning up messy titles on downloaded files, adding missing authorship or keywords, or giving scans a searchable title. Saving produces a new file and leaves the original untouched; everything happens locally.

FAQ

Does editing metadata change the page content?

No. Only the text in the file properties is rewritten — no page content, fonts or images are touched, so the text, layout and sharpness stay exactly the same and the file size barely changes.

Why are some PDFs missing metadata?

Because nothing wrote that information when the file was produced, which is common for scans, image-to-PDF conversions and some device exports. Just fill in the title and author above and save to complete it — the title in particular helps bookmarks and screen readers.
