What is this?
Markdown tables are a lightweight table syntax used on GitHub and in docs: pipes separate cells and a |---| row declares the header and alignment. This tool turns CSV into neat aligned Markdown tables, and converts Markdown tables back to CSV for moving data between spreadsheets and documents.
FAQ
What if a cell contains a pipe |?
In Markdown tables the pipe is a delimiter, so a literal pipe inside a cell must be written as \|. This tool unescapes \| back to | on Markdown→CSV; for CSV→Markdown, escape pipes manually if a cell contains one.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
