FAQ
What is the difference between the PNG and SVG exports?
SVG is vector, so it scales up without any loss of sharpness, which makes it ideal for the web, for print, or for further editing in a design tool. PNG is a bitmap, which suits places that do not accept SVG such as social posts or business cards. Both are available.
Is the logo restricted to a square?
The canvas is square, which is the natural fit for an icon-style logo. For a horizontal lockup, keep the main name short and leave the subtitle empty, then adjust in the icon generator or a design tool.
Can I use my own image as the icon?
The built-in set is emoji and geometric symbols, which makes it quick to produce something with consistent styling. To use your own brand mark, square it into a transparent PNG first. All processing here is local, so nothing is uploaded.
Does the exported SVG embed fonts?
Text is rendered as outlines so it looks identical everywhere, but that also means the text can no longer be edited in the SVG. Export a PNG if you need editable text, or rebuild it with live text in a design tool.
How do I pick colours that work?
The built-in palettes are contrast-checked, so choosing one is safe. With a custom gradient, make sure there is enough lightness contrast between text and background or it will be hard to read at small sizes.
