What does this tool do?
Exact age is the international standard, counted from whether the birthday has passed this year. Nominal age follows the Chinese folk convention (born at one year old, plus one each lunar new year — here estimated as current year minus birth year plus one). It also shows days lived and the countdown to your next birthday.

Why do the two ages differ?
Exact age counts completed years since birth, while nominal age counts year spans, so they usually differ by one or two years depending on whether the birthday has passed.

注意事项Things to watch
- 虚岁按传统算法（出生即 1 岁、逢春节长一岁），与周岁可能差 1–2 岁。The traditional age counts birth as 1 and adds a year each Spring Festival, so it can differ from the standard age by one or two.
- 基准日可自定义，用来回算「某天时对方多大」。The reference date is editable, so you can work out someone’s age on any given day.
- 2 月 29 日出生的人，在非闰年按 3 月 1 日计算生日。For people born on 29 February, non-leap years fall back to 1 March.
