How is this calculated?
Speed is shown as WPM (words per minute), with 1 word = 5 characters. Accuracy is the number of correctly typed characters divided by all typed characters. Timing starts on your first keystroke and stops when the passage is typed fully and correctly. Treat the result as a rough estimate.

Why is Chinese also measured in WPM?
To stay consistent with English typing tests, this tool counts every 5 characters as one "word", so Chinese is shown as "字/分" with the same WPM concept.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The passage and your input are processed only inside your browser and never leave the device.
